About Us

Our Mission Statement

We will provide an effective, efficient and friendly medical service to our patient partners within the local community and we will improve the quality of patient care and the productivity of healthcare delivery through the development and advocacy of new procedures and patient education.

About the Practice

Originating as a family run surgery in 1952, following several mergers Newbury Green Medical Practice has grown into a well established provider of primary healthcare services to Salford residents, maintaining an excellent service for patients both old and new.

The practice has four GP partners and four additional part time GPs, with three practice nurses, two assistant practitioners, and a healthcare assistant, and provides a wide range of services to over 11500 local people.

We also undertake the training of new doctors from time to time. The clinicians are supported by a highly experienced administration team, many of whom have been with us more than ten years and all the staff are committed to providing friendly, efficient and excellent patient service.

We firmly believe in engaging with all our patients with a view to improving systems and processes in what is a challenging and changing time for the health service in general and we welcome any feedback to that effect.

We are committed to maintaining confidentiality and protecting the information we hold about you. We adhere to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the NHS Codes of Confidentiality and Security, as well as guidance issued by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Our equality and diversity policies are reviewed on a regular basis and all staff undergo equality and diversity training yearly.

We offer a full range of general medical services and clinics as listed on this site. This practice is not a limited partnership. This practice is now part of NHS England.
